Bob Dolan

Robert Dolan is a Principal of Trade Management Partners, Inc., a consultancy focused on improving trade effectiveness for consumer product companies.   Mr. Dolan has 20 years of sales and trade marketing experience in the consumer packaged good industry, working across multiple brands and categories.

Mr.  Dolan’s experiences are grounded in the disciplines of Trade Marketing and the efficient management of sales controllables, with the emphasis on strategic tactic development, a fact based planning process and effective trade spending.

Mr. Dolan began his career in Sales with the Quaker Oats Company developing key relationships with top tier customers in a variety of categories. He progressed through local and regional trade marketing assignments, advancing to national trade marketing positions across multiple brands and categories.  He later joined ConAgra Foods, Inc, where he served as National Trade Marketing Manager and Director of Business Development for multiple business units with trade budgets in excess of $100mm.

Throughout his career, Mr. Dolan has a history of accomplishment in many critical areas of trade marketing.  Among them are variety assessment, plan-o-gram management, promotion profitability, pricing strategies, pre and post promotional analysis, and successful distribution campaigns.  His philosophy is centered on the establishment of flawlessly executed closed-loop planning processes and clear understanding of the returns on invested trade dollars.

Mr. Dolan received a B.S. in Business Administration/Finance from Southern Illinois University and lives in Schaumburg, Illinois.
