During his career Mr. McNamara has had extensive experience designing, integrating, and leading high-performing teams in sales.  He has had considerable success in process design and integration initiatives in the sales, trade marketing and supply chain areas.  As a strategic change-agent, Mr. McNamara has successfully led multiple trade marketing capability development efforts during the last 20 years. 

Prior to starting Trade Management Partners, Inc., Mr. McNamara worked for ConAgra Foods as Vice President of Sales for their Refrigerated business.  During his nine year tenure there, he held various leadership roles in sales, trade marketing, category management, strategic planning and supply chain. 

He joined ConAgra in 1997 to build the company’s trade marketing capability.  Through his leadership, ConAgra created an integrated business planning process; implemented customized trade promotion management systems; and generated substantially improved returns on their invested trade promotion dollars.   Before joining ConAgra, Mr. McNamara was employed by the Quaker Oats Company for over 14 years.    In 1991, he created their first trade marketing and category management groups. 

Mr. McNamara earned a BA at Yale in economics and played on two Ivy League champion football teams.  He did graduate work at Loyola College, concentrating in marketing and finance.  He is extensively involved in his local community and serves as a Director of a local homeless shelter in Palatine, Illinois.
